According to the Act No. 108/2006 Coll. on Social Services in the wording of later regulations, the aim of social counselling is focused on the adequate integration of foreigners into majority society.
We provide social counselling at the Information Centre, at five ICP branches or can be arranged to suit individual needs.
You must always make an appointment for social counselling in advance and come personally!
If you cannot attend the consultation for serious reasons (e.g. hospitalization, illness), a close family member can come instead of you. However, you have to give this person power of attorney.
The power of attorney (plná moc) has to include the following information: name, surname, date of birth, nationality, type of residence permit, type and number of your travel document or residency card and your ID card (passport, biometric card etc.) and your contact information and authorized representative’s contact.
If the power of attorney does not include this information, the consultation will not be available.
